What we stand for:

Since 2014 Axel Springer queerseite_ has represented the interests of the LGBTQIA+ community of companies and their employees in Axel Springer SE. The mission is to show diversity, educate and openly take a stand for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter* and queer people and all others who are not heteronormative, inside and outside the Axel Springer family.

What drives us:

Discussion instead of negation - queerseite_ stands for a lively internal exchange on LGBTQIA+ topics to promote corporate culture, broaden understanding and pay more attention to the needs of minorities, because if it is "no longer an issue", it is all the more in need of discussion.

Protection against discrimination in the work environment - queerseite_ and its coordination officers are the first point of contact in cases of sexist or verbal discrimination against LGBTQIA+ employees within the company units. This is investigated and clarified by the HR department. Discrimination against minorities has no place at Axel Springer SE!

Exchange and networking - queerseite_ promotes the internal exchange and networking of LGBTQIA+ and other staff groups within the corporate family through events and internal networking pages.

The network openly and outwardly campaigns for the rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people and all others who are not heteronormative in the companies of Axel Springer SE. An open exchange, free interaction and the reminder that the fight for freedom, the rule of law and democracy is just as much a part of the foundations of the digital publishing house and its employees as diversity and equality.

We encourage and welcome further start-ups in friendly companies and advocate for a lively discussion and more tolerance in European countries with a lack of or weak LGBTQIA+ lobby, in which Axel Springer holds stakes in companies.

We want to offer queer employees, as well as those interested in Axel Springer SE, the possibility of a free, open and equal working life and develop it together.

We clarify!

We openly take a stand for the rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people and all others who are not heteronormative, inside and outside the Axel Springer Group. We help.

We'll stand in.

We stand for an open, liberal and lively corporate culture and actively promote it.

We connect.

We connect with LGBTQIA+ groups and colleagues inside and outside Axel Springer. We are politically engaged for the rights and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people.
